Art has always been a vital part of my life. I started acting at a very young age, as I was shy but blossomed on stage.
I have been a professional actress for about fifteen years. I am deeply curious about the characters I play: why they act the way they do, what their stories, frustrations, and dreams are, and I learn to defend them, whatever their backgrounds may be.
In 2023, I took part in the Phoenix workshop from Movement Medicine, and I was captivated by the possibility of visiting our wounds and breaking out of the repetitive patterns that govern our lives. At that time, I was suffering because I was reliving the same destructive patterns in my relationships and health problems. It was a feeling of utter exhaustion that set me on my path. Today, I can see that what I experienced as burdens revealed in me a desire for sharing and love.
With Movement Medicine, I am gradually discovering all the characters who live within me and are part of who I am. They are the guests at a grand banquet to which I am invited, and I am learning to get close to them. As I meet them, I realise that they are like those I perceive in others ; therefore the more I meet myself, the more I meet others, and it becomes a game, always with parts of light and shadow.
Drawing on these experiences, I am committed to building bridges between Movement Medicine and the performing arts, and to questioning the relationship with the audience in order to serve artistic and personal creation. I also wish to continue working on inclusive projects with people with mental disabilities, such as those I have developed as a director and choreographer in recent years. This approach of openness to what we call ‘different’ remains at the heart of my practice and my life.
