We cannot control what life brings, but we have freedom in how we dance with it.
Why are we dancing...? Because it makes us happier, healthier, more whole. Because with dance, from time to time, we give ourselves the opportunity to move out of ourselves all that we could not feel, express or process in the thick of everyday life.
This in itself is wonderful - but only the beginning!
Because as we dance more and more, we begin to discover and understand our own functioning, patterns, reactions, and relationships through movement. And this will result - if we are persistent, attentive and committed enough - that the self we experience on the dance floor slowly begins to come into contact with the self we live in our lives.
This is what this group wants to give support with with. Through movement exercises, to give tools with which we can save the freedom and self-identity that we experience in dance into everyday life.
As in all my classes, there will also be an opportunity to express yourself in drawing: in every class there will be a paper on the wall, on which you can draw freely while dancing, allowing the lines to be born from your movements on the paper.
