Pony Tales

Each Study Hub lesson explores a gate from the Movement Medicine Mandala. The Hub's monthly lesson structure is made of weekly practices available for members every Monday. You're welcome to join the Hub anytime and no prior Movement Medicine experience is required. All live content is recorded and available for your convenience.

Susannah is slowly adding more "Pony Tales" videos and pieces of writing here, as they are, at least for some of us, so tenderly relevant to our own selves.

Susannah is bridging Stephen Porges's Polyvagal Theory with Dawn Westcott's style of sensitively attuned pony whispering as she learns from and with them all.

"Ivor and the Two Bridges" is about how Susannah and her formerly wild Exmoor pony Ivor are exploring the dance between fear and courage, trust, safety and curiosity. This is story about Ivor, also called "shy boy" who is a wild born Exmoor Pony we adopted some years ago, along with his brothers, Ivanhoe, Kailash and Baluran.

"A wild and stormy night" is a piece of evocative writing about the recognition of mutual trust.

And "The Power of the Pause" is a blog post about the power and importance of passes in the learning process.

Enjoy!

Please do let me know how these land with you in the REFLECTIONS space below. Thank you!
