Many of us know the experience of saying “yes” while something inside whispers “no”.We may want to avoid disappointing someone, hurting them, or creating tension. Yet each time we override our truth, we move a little further away from ourselves.
This one-day workshop invites you to explore the art of saying a clear and respectful “no” without guilt and without creating unnecessary conflict.
Through a weave of Movement Medicine, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and gentle yoga, we will explore how to listen more deeply to our inner signals, recognise our needs, and express our boundaries with honesty and care.
Movement Medicine invites us to listen through the body. In the dance, we can explore the felt sense of yes and no, discover where our limits live, and find the courage and clarity to stand in them.
Nonviolent Communication offers a simple and powerful framework to understand the needs behind our responses and to communicate them in a way that keeps connection alive - with ourselves and with others.
Gentle yoga will support grounding, embodiment and the inner strength needed to stand by what feels true.
Throughout the day we will alternate between movement practices, partner explorations, reflection and shared learning in a warm and supportive space.
No previous experience in Movement Medicine, yoga or Nonviolent Communication is needed.
