This is a four week mini series for a committed group that will meet each Monday. We’ll be dancing together into the “in between.” The thaw has begun and something is sprouting, even if we cannot quite name it yet. The Land of Liminal Space.
Think Joseph Campbell and archetypal journey. We’ll embody the dancing warrior, the wise sage, the jester, and the child, letting those energies move through us and noticing what wakes up in the dance.
Expect deep medicine music, world beats, loyal companions, creative expression, and a few simple art projects along the way. You'll be invited to move freely in a safe, judgement free space where you can explore what is emerging authentically and naturally.
Movement Medicine® is a conscious movement practice founded in the United Kingdom by Ya’Acov and Susannah Darling Khan. It weaves together freeform dance, shamanic processes, neuroscience, and Gestalt practice with embodied presence, inviting you to move in your own way while connecting body, heart, and mind. There is no choreography to get right. The practice meets you exactly where you are.
No dance experience is necessary and there are no steps to learn. All ages (16+), genders, body types and conditions are welcome. Please come exactly as you are. Just bring your open heart, curious mind, and playfulness.
