In this lesson we explore a full bodied, full blooded inclusive kind of compassion, using the Movement Medicine metaphorical map of the architecture of the heart. It takes the full spectrum to make the light.
When we include and embrace all our emotions, including fear, anger, sadness, joy and gratitude, we open gateways to embodied empathy and compassion. These feelings and the actions which flow from them do not come from a spiritual ideal but from a lived sense of commonality and resonance. This inner work creates a ground and basis for living one's life with life.
