1Who and where are you?
I am Simone from Switzerland, a
Movement Medicine teacher, leader of rites of passage, transformation in nature® coach. With my offerings I invite people to connect deeper with themselves, other people, nature and the Great Mystery. I experience the dance to be a very easy, joyful and playful way of being in connection.
2Are you a Movement Medicine teacher and/or facilitator?
I am a teacher. I trained in 2018/2019 and graduated in 2025.
3Who do you serve with your Movement Medicine work?
Everybody is welcome to my classes. They are open for everyone curious to dive deeper into the medicine of their own dance and the wisdom of their bodies and hearts. Everyone is invited, who is longing for a deeper connection to themselves, other people, nature and the Source. In my sessions, people can experience that a spiritual practice can be fun, adventure and very creative.
4What is the meaning of this work for you?
For me, Movement Medicine is a spiritual practice. It is a way of being in direct connection with all my relations. It is a way to express my love and my prayers, to receive healing, inspiration and guidance. It is by far the easiest way for me to empty my mind, to find peace and stillness and to nourish my body, heart and soul.
5Please tell us about two recent precious moments you’ve experienced in your professional Movement Medicine work.
At the end of the last session I invited people to sit back to back 2 or 3 together. It touched me to witness, how that simple physical contact brought a warm sense of connection into the space.
I played a lightly moving track and suddenly, everybody was dancing and weaving together in community. I like such moments of magic, that I do not make up myself.
6Please tell us something about when you recognised that Movement Medicine was going to play an important role in your life.
When I attended my first Movement Medicine Workshop with Susannah in 2011, it felt like coming home. It was the first time that I felt completely safe on a dance floor.
7The thing you find yourself saying most often to your participants
Trust! Trust your body, your heart, your rhythm and your dance.
8If you had 9 words to say anything you wanted to the world, what would it be?
Every moment is precious and holds the full potential.
