How do we connect with spirit in a way that brings us more fully into life? How might that connection guide the way we listen, love, dream and act?

Returning to Prague after many years, Susannah Darling Khan, co-founder of Movement Medicine, invites you into a dancing exploration of these questions.

Spirit Line first came to Susannah in a dream many years ago. At its heart is an invitation to awaken or strengthen your own connection with spirit: a living bridge between the sacred and the everyday, between “as above” and “so below”, with your feet firmly on the ground.

Through dance, we will explore the meeting of our body’s intelligence, our heart’s emotional wisdom and our mind’s capacity for curiosity, imagination and deep questioning. As body, heart and mind come into relationship through movement, we may discover a luminous quality of presence: moments when we feel more vividly alive, more receptive, and part of something larger than ourselves.

Here, the sensual richness of being alive becomes part of our inquiry. Breath, rhythm, sensation and feeling invite a more intimate encounter with the mystery of life. We will make room for a quietly mystical way of knowing, one that welcomes sensitivity and strength, and allows understanding to emerge through our dancing relationship with ourselves, one another and the living world.

This is a quest in which the questions themselves can become companions. What matters deeply to you? What is asking for your attention? What becomes possible when your personal dreams meet a sense of belonging and responsibility to the wider web of life?

Together, we will explore how to give what we discover a place in everyday life: in how we care, what we create, and the contribution we choose to make.

Susannah brings decades of teaching and ongoing personal exploration, together with warmth, clarity, depth and humour. She invites you to discover how dance can support a life infused with awareness of the sacred, expressed through the practical, imperfect business of being human.

Bring your dreams, your fears, your hopes and your hurts. Bring your strength, your sensitivity and your unanswered questions.

Bring all of yourself. Come and dance.
