Next Month's Hub Lesson

Each Study Hub lesson explores a gate from the Movement Medicine Mandala. The Hub's monthly lesson structure is made of weekly practices available for members every Monday. You're welcome to join the Hub anytime and no prior Movement Medicine experience is required. All live content is recorded and available for your convenience.

December arrives carrying its paradoxes: joy and grief, victory and defeat, beauty and the beast woven together. This is a season of remembering, not as a static record of what happened, but as a living practice of honouring what was so it can become fuel for what will com next. Why does it matter? Because memory, met with awareness, transforms, becoming good compost for the next season of growing.. Triumphs, failures, awkward steps and shining moments all belong in the alchemical process of remembrance..

The Keynote opens with Ya'Acov reflecting on their year, then hands over to you through a series of grounded and thought provoking prompts to honour your own journey. Take what serves and let's use the season to digest, release and open the space for winter dreams.

Come as you are. With your stories, your scars and your celebrations. Together, we practice remembering as an act of love, letting go and making space for the mystery of a new year on the horizon.

The Art of Honouring Life

December on the Study Hub with Ya’Acov

December arrives with her usual bag of contradictions: gratitude and grief, exhaustion and celebration, unfinished business and the faint stirrings of a new beginning. Before we rush towards another year, there is something worth doing: pausing to honour the one we have lived.

What has moved you? What have you lost? Where have you surprised yourself? And what deserves a quiet bow, even if nobody else noticed?

Remembering is a creative practice. When we bring movement and attention to our experience, we give it somewhere to go. Grief can move. Gratitude can deepen. Even our mistakes can become useful, which is fortunate, given how reliably we keep making them 😉.

In this December lesson, I’ll guide you through a process of embodied reflection, with practical prompts to help you recognise what this year has asked of you, what it has given you, and what you are ready to put down. We’ll make space for the obvious milestones and the quieter changes: the difficult conversation you finally had, the help you allowed yourself to receive, the moment you chose a different step.

Bring your body, your memories and whatever remains unresolved. You don’t need to tie the year into a neat bow.

Together, we’ll honour what has been, gather the medicine of our experience, and listen for the life already stirring beneath the surface of what comes next.

n.b. There won't be a Q&A this month and the 'Live Intro' and Refuge Class will be pre-recorded since we are away teaching.
