Live Intro Q & A
Movement Medicine is not about moving more. It's about moving more consciously.
Welcome to this month's journey, where we turn our attention to a simple and profound truth: movement is medicine.
We all know that movement benefits our physical and psychological health. Movement Medicine includes these benefits and goes further, inviting us into a way of moving that engages body, heart, imagination, and embodied awareness.
Rather than simply exercising while the mind is elsewhere, we practise moving with presence, awareness, and relationship.
The right music helps connect body, heart, emotion, and imagination. It supports us to engage more consciously with the energetic fabric of our lives, opening greater access to love, meaning, beauty, resilience, strength, and choice.
This month we'll be exploring the unique medicine that becomes available when body, heart, imagination, and embodied awareness move together.
Movement Medicine isn't only interested in what happens inside us.
Yes, we explore our own inner universe. But we are always asking another question too.
How does this shape the way I meet the world?
Healing is not only an inner journey. It is an ongoing conversation between our inner universe and the larger universe we belong to. Our Mini Embodiment this month is a movement practice in this space, which in Movement Medicine we call MESA practice, which comes from Susannah's Life Grooves album, made with Volker Kazczinski and Stef Vink.
