Would you like to explore self-expressive dance?
Want to express what you’re feeling inside through creative movement?
This is a 4-week introduction to Movement Medicine® on 31st January, 7th, 14th, & 21st February.
Through music, movement, and dance, we will actively engage with the elements: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Ether. We'll explore how these elements move inside: feeling the ground in your bones, accessing your inner fire, letting go into your natural flow, and letting your breath shape and guide you. We will play with this elemental synergy to unlock a deeper sense of self.
This is about reclaiming your power, releasing stagnant movement, returning home in your body, and connecting to joy. No dance moves required!
The spaces I offer are welcoming and inclusive. It is a space where we meet on the dance floor as we are. There is no requirement to be a ‘Dancer’, we are all dancers of our own lives.
‘Carolyn nurtures a safe space. I often don't feel safe in my body so feeling the safety has allowed me to give myself permission to express movement and my breath with courage. I am opening to myself to life. Thank you.’~ Workshop Participant
‘I feel more energised, more alert, and I enjoyed the music and dancing, a way of connecting to yourself and loosening up your inhibitions.’~ 80-year-old Participant, Introductory Session
Movement Medicine® helps us reconnect and start listening to our body and heart again. We do this by engaging the body in movement, bringing our awareness back inside our bodies, and trusting the movement that comes. Through this process of embodiment, we can engage all of our power through the integrated intelligence of the body, heart, and mind.

I am committed to providing therapeutic, movement and training spaces that are safe, inclusive, and affirming for all.
Guided by the BACP Ethical Framework and the UK Equality Act, I celebrate diversity across all identities—including race, neurodivergence, disability, body size, gender identity, and sexual orientation. I believe that movement, mental health, and therapeutic support should be accessible to every body, without judgment or barriers.
You are welcome here exactly as you are.
