Integrity: Fire in the Heart
In Movement Medicine practice, harnessing the elemental power of fire and its link to anger is vital for the development of our emotional intelligence. Integrity is not a static state but an evolving process that supports our emotional resilience and strengthens the expression of who we are and our capacity to show up and give.
As yin, fire calls us close to share our stories and experiences, fostering deeper connections. As yang, fire boldly expresses and transforms and gives us more strength to dance with the unpredictable and unknown aspects of life.
Our exploration this month will invite an enquiry into the nuanced relationship between fire, anger, integrity, and boundaries. As always, acknowledging our past experience will support us in the present and we encourage to take the chance to develop a healthier relationship with this inescapable and vital chamber of the heart.
Ultimately, the interplay of fire, anger and integrity, deepens our emotional intelligence and supports the inner strength of character needed to maintain healthy and evolving connections across all 5 Dimensions (Self, Others, Community, Imaginal/Spirits, Source) of relationship.
