This Month's Hub Lesson
A journey into the trinity of fires that shape life; from the sun above to the fire in the heart of the earth below to the fire of life that flows though each of us. With thanks to Hub member Sophie Aegerter for naming this "Trinity of Fire". See reflections below.
In this lesson, we explore the profound connection between all life and the twin fires that make it possible: the radiant sun and the molten fire at the centre of the earth. Drawing on both scientific understanding and spiritual insight, we investigate how solar energy flows through every cell, igniting vitality, courage, and transformation within us.
At the same time, we will attune to the stabilising fire deep within the Earth, discovering how its steady warmth and protection anchor us, giving grounding and security and protecting us from the otherwise destructive affect of the sun.
By engaging with these two fires; the sun’s luminous energy and the earth’s deep core fire; we awaken a harmony between expansion and stability, inspiration and grounding, light and warmth.
See the Keynote to uncover more about the mystery of the world and the universe we inhabit. For those who want more, see the written "PS to the Keynote". In the Live Class and the Mini Embodiment we engage in embodied exploration of these elemental connections.
In the sharing at the end of the Live Class, one of the things that came up related to the role of joy in maintaining our capacity to stay open hearted and connected within the suffering of the world. I quoted my Wild Honey blog about meeting Joan Halifax. This meeting brought a beautiful teaching into our world, which we wanted to share with you in this way.
