Welcome to this month’s journey, where we turn our attention to the invisible miracle that keeps us dancing: air. The breath. Oxygen. The 8 winds. As May unfurls her green skirts and the birds get a little over-excited (understandable), we’ll explore how working consciously with the element of air can clear the mind, lift the heart, calm or engage the nervous system and remind us that inspiration is quite literally something we inhale.
We’ll play with breath as nourishment, breath as rhythm, breath as messenger—and maybe even ask the spirit of the wind itself to ruffle a few assumptions.
