As we grow and take greater responsibility for our lives, we begin to understand how our past has shaped us. With maturity comes the recognition that our experiences, gifts and challenges are the raw materials from which we can consciously create our lives.
The transition from adulthood to maturity invites us to explore new questions:
How am I the artist of my own life? How can I draw on the experiences of my ancestors? What do I wish to pass on to those who follow?
Through Movement Medicine embodied enquiry and ceremony, this Initiation weekend offers an opportunity to explore the gifts of maturity, including greater self-acceptance, a sense of humour about our humanity, a deeper appreciation of life and an expanding sense of connection and care.
Together, we will honour what we have inherited, deepen our understanding of our unique soulprint and explore what we consciously choose to carry forward. There will be space for grief, tenderness, honesty and full-hearted embodied prayer.
