Susan's Spiritual Journey: A Quest for Knowledge and Wisdom

Susan's fascination with all things spiritual began at a young age, leading her on a ten-year journey of self-discovery and exploration. In 1987, she embarked on a global adventure to study various cultures and human behavior, traveling to North and South America, Australia, Hawaii, and numerous countries throughout Asia.

Her journey ultimately led her back to Scotland in 1997, where she began sharing her spiritual teachings and Yoga wisdom. Susan has gained a deep understanding of the human soul and the importance of creating safe and nurturing spaces for individuals to find peace and healing.

In addition to her spiritual work, Susan worked as a project manager for a property development and landlord company that provided safe living spaces for individuals who didn't meet the usual estate agent criteria. This experience further cemented her belief in the importance of creating safe and comfortable living spaces for people.

Susan's personal journey with Movement Medicine began in Germany in 2016, where she discovered safety and healing through the practice. Since then, she has completed seven years of training as a Movement Medicine professional and now holds space for others to discover the same sense of safety and healing within themselves.

Today, Susan teaches weekly classes in Yoga, Meditation, and Movement Medicine at Yama Studios Glasgow – a location she founded in 2019. Her teachings focus on helping people find inner peace and healing within their own bodies.

Upcoming Events

I went to Susan’s movement medicine class recently and it was such an incredible experience for me. I loved every second since stepping into the studio. The whole atmosphere the people, the music, and how Susan guided us through the process. I felt strong and free and grateful for my body and enjoyed every movement. I could go on and on and on. Just wanted to say that I’m so glad our paths have crossed and that I learned about movement medicine. I want to have this in my life now! - Gala Tea
