Michael worked as a teacher in a primary school in Hamburg for 30 years. He also played in several bands as a bassist and in a samba group as a percussionist. He first got to know Conscious Dance with Vinn Marti (Soul Motion). But it wasn't until a workshop with Susannah in 2013, in which dance as well as voice and presentation played a role, that he discovered his passion for Movement Medicine and has had every opportunity since then perceived to get to know this work further. In order to complete the apprenticeship in 2018, he took a sabbatical year. Since completing the “Professional Training” in 2022, Michael has been offering classes in Hamburg in which live percussion can sometimes be heard.
