Giulia is a Movement Medicine teacher in training. In 2012 she stepped for the first time in a 5 Rhythms workshop in Paris, and she immediately felt in love with the treasure she found there. Since then, she never stopped dancing and trying different Conscious Dance practices – through classes, workshops and intensive courses – until she found herself at home in Movement Medicine. She has been co-creating spaces for Movement Medicine classes and workshops for many years, until she couldn’t resist to the call of being in service and becoming a teacher herself.
She deeply believes that MM is for ourselves and “for all our relations”, including dear ones, communities and the all planet. Through MM, she developed a new relationship with her body and sensitivity; she found empowerment and space for integration. Giving back some of the gifts she got is what guided her to attend the apprenticeship and the teacher training path.
Her life was already quite busy… She is mother of two amazing human beings and she is a professional journalist. She writes for the Italian version of HuffPost covering International Affairs. She does her best to understand the facts and dynamics of our crazy/wonderful/complex/unique world – and she tries to do it with a lucid mind and an open heart (not easy when the topics are wars, racism, political and social conflicts…). She is experiencing on herself how Movement Medicine can be a map to explore inside the body the impact of News, a practice that can bring more compassion and peace in ourselves and the world.
She loves being in Nature and feels a deep connection to the Waters. Movement is her Medicine, and she is hugely happy to share it with other human beings.
