So many years of education yet nobody taught us how to treat ourselves with kindness and why it is so important-particularly when we fail, we suffer or we feel that we are not enough.
This course integrates the practices of psychotherapy, dance therapy and movement medicine to cultivate the capacity to look upon ourselves with loving and compassionate eyes. We work with self-compassion as an antidote to shame; learn to regulate our nervous system so we can access a sense of safety and connection in challenging times; strengthen the relationship with nature and develop this as a resource for compassion; take home an individualised program for ongoing practices.
We will work with embodied practice, dance, music, sharing and mini-lectures. Course format: Online Individual Psychotherapy Prep Sessions. Weekend in-person group intensive. Online individual integration session. Day group follow-up in person.
