A Talk, Tobacco Ceremony and Embodied Drumming Journey
With Ya’Acov Darling Khan
Welcome to an evening with Ya’Acov Darling Khan, in which he will share about his journey and healing process that has led him from belonging to a men’s direct action group in the 1980’s called the ‘Wee Willy Wimpos and the Wailing Wizards of Gandwanaland’ to the total joy he takes in being a man in the modern world. This joy is rooted in taking responsibility for and developing personal power, and dedicating that to a purpose that brings dignity to self and service to the world.
Tobacco in the Amazon region is one of the master healing plants. Ya’Acov carries the tradition of offering this medicine and he will share the medicine for those who wish to try it.
The drum is a traditional shamanic tool used for helping us access deeper states of listening and giving us access to more creative parts of the body-heart-mind. Ya’Acov will lead us on an embodied journey with the drum to help us to find a clearer access to the joy and responsibility of being a man in the modern world.

His 34-year marriage and partnership with ‘Movement Medicine Woman’ and wife, Susannah, with whom he is Co-Director of The School of Movement Medicine and Co-author of Hay House published ‘Movement Medicine’, forms the loving foundation and union for a life dedicated to the transformation of our world.
