Bare Dans means 'Just Dance' in Norwegian. And that's what it is – Simple as That!

This is not an explicit Movement Medicine event – just a chance to dance, nothing more, nothing less.

We’re playing an eclectic mix of danceable music because we just feel like dancing on a regular weekday—shaking off the day, moving, and maybe breaking a sweat.

Need to cool off with an ice bath or warm up in the sauna after dancing? Your dance ticket gets you a discount on both!

Event Details:

📍 Where: Langhuset at SALT
When: 18:30 - 20:30
📅 Dates: Mondays – February 3rd, 10th, 24th and 3rd of March

What to Know:

Bring a water bottle! There’s an alcohol-free bar if you need extra hydration.
No choreography, no rules. Dance however you want, no experience needed.
Listen to your body. Move at your own pace, rest when you need to.
Respect each other. Some people want to dance alone, and that’s totally fine.
Doors open at 18:20, last entry at 18:40.

Who’s Behind This?

Andrea Vik – A performing artist and DJ who just loves to dance. Andrea wants more places where we can let loose, even on a weekday.
Kaja Koppang – A system designer working with sustainable finance and a Movement Medicine teacher in training. Kaja dreams of creating spaces where people can move and express themselves freely.

We’re trying out something new – Bare Dans. No frills, no pressure, just a simple and welcoming space to dance on a regular weekday.

Thanks for supporting our pilot event – hope to see you there!
