My Body, My Friend
The theme of this Lesson is about inhabiting the territory of your own body.
We think of the body as the temple AND the playground for your spirit. The body has its own wisdom and its temporal and physical nature makes it a different kind of wisdom to that of your spirit.
This lesson is designed to support you to gain a deeper and more friendly relationship with the extraordinary instrument of your body. It took nearly 14 billion year to become you. And it carries the wisdom and intelligence of the whole journey.
One of the intentions of Movement Medicine practice is to bring the body and the spirit together in a long lasting embrace. Reclaiming the territory of the body, de-colonising it from the past and releasing its inherent creativity is the dance we're engaging in.
